Food was dank, service was decent, drinks were mids. This was the first place I ate on my first trip to st. Simon's and I was pleased.

Great spot to get fresh oysters during the happy hour times of 4PM - 6PM each day along with your favorite adult beverage. Service is good and attentive but not overly done which is good by me. The restaurant is at the back of Red Fern Village amongst other eating and drinking establishments. For me, this is a nice spot if you're looking for a late afternoon adult beverage and oysters or appetizers.

It has been a while since we have been here because we don't come to the Island as much as we used to. The service was great sat at the bar. Drinks were really reasonable happy hour 4-6. The oysters here are the best anywhere and the food is great. Don't miss out on a chance to experience this place.

Went here on Memorial Day weekend due to the first two restaurants we tried being on two hour waits. The place presents as a dive and looks more like a bar than a restaurant, but the meal was excellent. Parmesan Oysters and steamed peel and eat shrimp to start, the best we have had on St Simonds island. The catch of the day was triple tail which I had blackened, with grilled vegetables and cheese grits. Service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely go back.

Catch 228 has some of the best conch we have tasted!!! Great fish and shrimp here as well! The place was packed and that did not hinder getting great service!! Great food and great service from y'all! Thank you!

This place was an amazing find on St. Simon's island. The oyster happy hour was the main draw. We have been there twice. Each time did not disappoint. The oysters are shipped in from Chesapeake bay. They are super fresh, and great priced. The Spicy Teriyaki wings were amazing. I recommend getting those. We also had the Blue Crab stew. Amazing!! Service is excellent. We will be going again!!!

S E A T I N G we sat outside bc of pup. there were a good ?8ish tables of 4 seaters. covered. well kept. clean. space between each table. well ventilated. space heaters available. I walked in to wash my hands in the restrooms. it was pretty clean. indoor seating was plentiful. definitely older decor and also dated. suitable for couples to large parties. D R E S S C O D E very casual dress code F O O D snow crab legs 1lb MKT $39.99 steamed with drawn butter and lemon: one set of crab legs. oysters on half shell full dozen MKT $21.99 horseradish and 228 vinegar sauce: a range of large and small oysters. sweet yet briny (even the large ones!) peel and eat shrimp 1/2 lb MKT $15.99 wild georgia shrimp w 228 sauce: 7 pieces of shrimp. shrimp were all large and meaty. I'm surprised at the small portion size. however, it was tasty and seafood was fresh! S E R V I C E no one here greeted us or introduced themselves when we or anyone walked in. the dark haired white hostess was not polite or welcoming whatsoever.
